Half Ceramics was founded in 2015 with the aim to fuse simple and unique design with a subtle yet vibrant color palette. It's a one man operation run by Nick McPhail out of his home/studio in Silver Lake, Los Angeles. All wares are fired to cone 6 and crafted utilizing traditional wheel throwing and hand building techniques.

Care

All products are dishwasher and microwave safe. It is recommended to use the top rack in the dishwasher, and try to avoid abrasive detergents and extremely high temperature settings. Avoid reheating coffee or other acidic beverages as they may stain light glazes. Prolonged exposure to staining or acidic beverages (coffee, red wine, citrus, soda) may also lead to discoloration. I recommend drinking all of the above beverages from Half Ceramics ware... just don't leave them overnight.
